At the Novotel Olympic park we monitored the consumption data of a fire stairwell containing the following: 41 Emergency 2x18w (600mm) fluorescent lights.
Lamps 2x18w = 36watts
Ballast = 4watts
Battery Charger = 8watts
Total = 48watts x 41 fittings
TOTAL CIRCUIT POWER 1,968watts (per Hour)
Compared to our NRG Radar Sensor tubes
Full Power = 11watts (full)
Standby Power = 2.5watts (Dim)
Battery Charger = 8watts
This chart shows the recorded data/power from the stairwell using our technology over a 24-hour period.
These are the same recorded readings but now shown over the total 2 week period.
Now if we overlay all this consumption data and reference it to the original fluorescent tubes we can see in real time, the actual savings achieved in the fire stairwell.
This has a recorded power saving of 76%
When considering these fire stairwells are used frequently by hotel staff, to achieve an extra 50% reduction in power from a standard LED tubes is an excellent achievement.
